The Adelaide Education Group (AEG) is a dynamic education consortium based in South Australia. AEG offers government-accredited and non-award courses from Primary to Postgraduate levels for local and overseas students. The group consists of the Adelaide International School (AIS), Adelaide Institute of Business and Technology (AIBT), Adelaide Institute of Higher Education (AIHE), and Adelaide Research Institute (ARI). As a Student Recruitment Officer, you will play a crucial role in the organization’s student growth, profitability, and international reputation. Your primary responsibility will be to attract prospective students, both locally and abroad, to AEG’s diverse range of programs.

Responsibilities:
– Represent AEG in recruitment events, school/university fairs, and agent networking events.
– Provide valuable advice and guidance to potential students, helping them choose the most suitable programs and pathways based on their individual needs.
– Foster relationships with current agents by regularly updating them on AEG’s offerings and admission requirements.
– Ensure compliance with the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students, 2018.
– Collaborate with the Admissions team to provide timely and accurate information for issuing Offer Letters and Confirmations of Enrolment.
– Provide market feedback to the Marketing and Recruitment team to improve recruitment strategies.
– Assist the Melbourne Campus Coordinator in addressing queries from agents, students, and applicants.

Essential Requirements:
– Minimum three years of experience in student recruitment.
– Bachelor’s degree in marketing, international studies, or business.
– Intermediate proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
– Strong written and verbal communication skills.
– Familiarity with the policy guidelines set by the Australian Department of Home Affairs and legislative/regulatory requirements.

Desirable Qualifications:
– Experience in the international higher education sector, Registered Training Organization (RTO), or school setting.
– Degree or extensive experience in a similar role.

Essential Clearances and Checks:
– Working with Children Check (WWCC) with the Victorian Government.
– National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain.

The Student Recruitment Officer will work alongside AEG’s recruitment team to implement marketing and recruitment strategies for the Adelaide Institute of Higher Education, Adelaide Institute for Business and Technology, and Adelaide International School.
