Waterloo Studios - Sydney Actors School & Sydney Film School

Sydney Actors School and Sydney Film School offer hands-on training in acting and film production. We are located at Sydney’s Waterloo Studios and provide courses at a diploma and advanced diploma level. We are currently seeking a Recruitment & Admissions Manager to develop and implement student recruitment strategies for both schools. This role is crucial in maintaining and increasing enrolments to ensure the financial viability of the institutions.

Key responsibilities of the role include promoting the schools to the wider community, assisting individuals in choosing acting and film training, managing and converting leads, attending and promoting the schools at career expos, arranging presentations with schools and career advisors, organizing tours, auditions, and interviews with the Directors of Education, managing application and enrolment documents, building relationships with International Student Agents, and more.

Desirable qualifications and experience for this role include a current Working with Children Check, a driver’s license and passport, sales experience in an educational environment, student engagement experience, knowledge of the VET sector, and a preference for setting and exceeding targets and KPIs.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable speaking with people, committed to the position and the schools’ development, detail-oriented, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, be results-driven, a team player, have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, be willing to work weekends and evenings as required, and be able to engage with and relate to students.
