Salary Range: $121,150 to $129,555 per annum (HEO9)

About the Role:
The Manager, Student Experience and Quality is a senior management position responsible for overseeing Higher Degree Research (HDR) processes at UNE. This includes candidate management, progress monitoring, examination, reporting, retention, and HDR program approval. The role involves providing policy advice, support, and reporting for effective HDR management within the university.

About You:
To excel in this role, you should have extensive experience in HDR management and administration. Excellent communication skills are essential for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The ability to lead and influence a dynamic team is crucial, along with strong personnel management experience. In-depth knowledge of higher education management, governance, and policy is required. Exceptional attention to detail, prioritization, organizational, and problem-solving skills are needed, as is a deep commitment to UNE’s research priorities and initiatives.

About the Graduate Research School:
The Graduate Research School at UNE is responsible for enhancing and overseeing all aspects of HDR study. It supports research excellence and provides advice, information, and decision-support services on research quality to the university’s academic governance and management functions.
