Position Available: Manager, International Student Engagement

Salary: $84,793 – $104,996 17% superannuation
The University of Wollongong is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Manager, International Student Engagement to transform the international student experience at our institution. This is a full-time position with a permanent/continuing appointment at Level 6/7, offering a competitive salary and superannuation package.
As the Manager, International Student Engagement, you will lead a team in developing innovative programs and activities that facilitate a smooth onboarding process for international students, promoting a sense of belonging and connection. Collaboration with diverse stakeholders is essential to ensure these initiatives align with our International Student Experience Framework and enhance student belonging throughout their time at UOW, from pre-arrival to post-graduation.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification and previous experience working with international student cohorts. Leadership skills, program design, and implementation experience, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills, are essential. We are looking for someone who embraces continuous improvement, utilizes current and emerging technologies, and adopts inclusive and culturally respectful practices. Being bilingual and speaking multiple languages is desirable.
