The Academic Division of AEMG is responsible for delivering academic programs and managing educational programs delivered by partner universities. This includes overseeing Teaching Visit delivery, English language courses, English language testing, Qualifying Programs, and academic subjects delivered on behalf of global university partners. Additionally, the Academic Division coordinates International Credit Courses delivered in Chinese Universities.

The position of Academic Services Manager plays a crucial role in the Academic Division. The primary responsibility is to oversee various academic support services and initiatives within the division. The Academic Services Manager ensures the smooth functioning of the division by coordinating academic programs and providing support to internal and external stakeholders. This position collaborates with key personnel such as the Vice President, Executive Dean, Registrar, Dean of Education, Dean of CAL, and other stakeholders to develop and implement policies and processes that optimize partner satisfaction and student learning outcomes.

Under the guidance of the Executive Dean, Academic, the Academic Services Manager works in collaboration with program directors in strategic leadership, academic program management, faculty and staff recruitment supervision, and budget management. This includes developing and implementing faculty strategic plans, overseeing the planning and development of academic programs, recruiting and supervising staff and faculty members, and managing the division’s budget.

The ideal candidate for this position should have a Bachelor’s degree, with a preference for a Master’s or higher qualification in Education Management, Business Administration, or a relevant field. They should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in higher education administration or a similar senior management role. Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills are essential, along with a comprehensive understanding of the higher education landscape in Australia and internationally. Knowledge of academic program development, curriculum design, accreditation processes, and budget management is also required.

The position is primarily based in Melbourne, but some national and overseas travel may be required.
