The university is currently hiring an International Student Transition Project Officer for the Student Success and Wellbeing department. This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 12 months. The position reference number is 117521860.

The International Student Transition Projects Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing resources and initiatives to support international students during their transition into the university. This role will provide information and resources related to welcome, orientation, and academic support, ensuring compliance with the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018. The officer will work closely with various university departments and teams.

Ideal candidates for this position should have a relevant higher education qualification and at least 2 years of experience working with culturally diverse communities in education or human services, preferably in the higher education sector. They should possess knowledge of international student transition and retention issues in Australia and have strong cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills. Problem-solving skills and familiarity with the ESOS National Code are also required.
