Job Description: International Conversions Officer

Contract Type: Fixed Term – 24 Months

The International Conversions Officer for the Kent Business School is responsible for executing various online and offline activities to improve engagement and increase conversion rates for international student recruitment. This role involves organizing, creating, delivering, and analyzing marketing communications, conversion events, and other activities.

Working as part of the KBS Marketing & Recruitment team, alongside the International Recruitment and functional leads for Campaigns, Events, and CRM & Conversions, the role holder will play a key role in supporting the transformation of the Business School and contributing to the success of the University and Division in this area.

Responsibilities as an International Conversions Officer include:

– Providing online support to international students through various channels (direct engagement, email, phone, SMS campaigns, virtual and on-campus events, social media)
– Contributing to the ongoing improvement of the international conversion plan to achieve recruitment goals and targets
– Collaborating with academics and key contacts in Kent Business School to drive international recruitment and conversion activities
– Creating, checking, and sending email, print, and SMS campaigns through the CRM, following the international conversion plan
– Utilizing CRM technology such as lead scoring, email journeys, and automation to deliver personalized and segmented experiences that convert prospects into students

Qualifications and Skills required for the role:

– Experience in executing email marketing campaigns
– Experience in supporting customers in the UK and overseas
– Experience in creating and sending segmented and personalized communications through a CRM
– Strong copywriting and proofreading skills with a focus on creating inspiring and effective copy
– Understanding of how CRM can support complex conversion plans using tools like dynamic content and customer journeys
