At CQUniversity, we firmly believe that quality education, training, and research should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background, location, or life circumstances. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the delivery of VET qualifications in areas such as Early Childhood, Education Support, Training and Assessment, Project Management, Hospitality, and Visual Arts.

Working closely with the Deputy Dean of VET, you will play a key role in developing and implementing innovative course concepts, engaging with both internal and external stakeholders. Your strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with your educational leadership abilities, will enable you to effectively manage staff and drive positive change.

In addition to the rewarding nature of this role, we offer a range of benefits to our employees, including 6 weeks of annual leave, generous carers, maternity, and paternity leave, 17% superannuation, and a flexible and inclusive work/life balance. We also provide fantastic professional and career development opportunities, as well as access to an Employee Assistance Program.

To be considered for this position, you must possess relevant vocational qualifications at a level equivalent to or higher than the level being delivered. You should also have a good understanding of the education and training sector and the ability to adapt to new directions and demands of the training market. Additionally, you must hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a higher-level qualification in adult education.

For more information about the position, please refer to the Position Description. If you believe you have the skills, experience, and suitability for this role, please submit your application by 11:59pm on Sunday, 5 May 2024. Your application should include your current CV or resume, as well as a 1-2 page cover letter highlighting your relevant qualifications and experience.

At CQUniversity, we value diversity and encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, as well as our domestic and international student graduates with post-study work rights.
