Are you interested in advancing your Academic Career while gaining valuable experience with an international company? EF International Language Campuses in Perth is currently seeking a qualified and dynamic Director of Studies to oversee our Academic Department.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Academic department by implementing planned course programs and taking the lead. You will have overall responsibility for the academic management and quality, as well as the training and development of the academic team. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can apply their previous knowledge and experience to continue the successful growth and development of our school in a fast-paced environment.

Some of your duties will include providing leadership and management for the entire Academic Department, teaching as needed, setting the direction for the department, developing new academic content, managing the academic team, handling timetabling, correspondence with EF Sales Offices globally, ensuring compliance with school accreditation and EF policies, managing the academic budget, working towards whole school goals and targets, and ensuring quality assurance.

To be successful in this role, you should have a Master’s degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related field, or be DELTA certified. Experience teaching English as a foreign language to international students is essential, as well as academic management experience. Attention to detail, strong organization skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines are important. You should also be highly motivated, energetic, and positive, with a flexible approach to work. Being friendly, approachable, and sensitive to the needs of international students is key, as well as the ability to work independently and take initiative.
