Job Title: Associate Director of Student Engagement, Success, and Wellbeing

Location: Sunshine Coast Campus, Sippy Downs or Moreton Bay Campus, Petrie (with regular travel to Sunshine Coast)

Contract Type: Full-time, ongoing

Remuneration: Attractive salary, commensurate with skills and experience, plus 17% superannuation

Your focus will be on empowering students and increasing their engagement, success, and wellbeing. You will collaborate with colleagues across UniSC and provide strategic insights to senior management, executive members, and university partners. Additionally, you will oversee various activities aimed at enhancing student wellbeing, engagement, and success, such as academic skills support, career advising, student partnerships, safety and wellbeing services, and accessibility support. Building strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders will also be a key part of your role. Note: This position requires regular travel between campuses. If based at UniSC Moreton Bay, travel to Sunshine Coast campus will be required.

Your Profile:
Our ideal candidate is a forward-thinking leader who excels at fostering continuous improvement, service excellence, and evidence-based practices. You have the expertise to provide valuable guidance on strategic student engagement, success, and wellbeing initiatives. You are well-connected within the sector and stay informed about developments and best practices. As a senior member of our Student Services leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our institution’s strategic trajectory. You have the ability to drive and lead change, and your leadership approach is characterized by inclusivity, empowerment, and dedication to continuous improvement. Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills are a must, as well as organizational management expertise. An understanding of the Australian Higher Education sector and contemporary research related to student engagement, success, and wellbeing is essential.
