Job Title: Associate Director (South Asia & Middle East)

Position Summary:
The Associate Director (South Asia & Middle East) at UniSQ is responsible for leading the marketing and recruitment efforts in the vibrant regions of South Asia and the Middle East. This role involves crafting and implementing diverse marketing and recruitment strategies to expand the international student pipeline and meet student load and diversity targets. The Associate Director will be instrumental in elevating UniSQ’s brand presence and establishing robust enrolment pathways across all campuses and faculties.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategic international recruitment plans to achieve student load and diversity targets.
2. Monitor recruitment progress during critical admissions cycles, identify issues, and implement solutions.
3. Manage key recruitment channels and maintain positive relationships with partners.
4. Design and execute audience-centered international marketing campaigns and initiatives.
5. Activate the international agency network for optimized outcomes.
6. Provide expert advice and thought leadership to inform strategic decisions.
7. Lead a culturally diverse team and foster a positive and cohesive workplace.
8. Manage operations, budget, compliance, and performance effectively.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
– Post-graduate qualifications in marketing, business, or relevant fields.
– Extensive experience in international marketing and recruitment, preferably within higher education.
– Expert knowledge of South Asian and Middle Eastern higher education markets.
– Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
– Ability to manage challenges and drive cultural change.

– Campus Location: Toowoomba, Springfield, or Ipswich
– Term: Full-time continuing appointment (36hrs/week)
– Salary: Total remuneration range $156,435 to $173,403 pa (includes salary range of $132,180 to $146,517 pa, employer superannuation contributions of 17% of salary, and 17.5% annual leave loading)
