Summary:
The Associate Director of Global Programs is a leadership role within the Undergraduate Business Program at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. The program has a large enrollment of approximately 1,000 majors and minors. The Associate Director will be responsible for managing relationships with global partners, delivering international programs and services, enhancing global education for students, and advising students on global program opportunities. The goal is to provide every Undergraduate Business Program student with a global experience. The Associate Director reports to the Director for Global Programs and supervises one Assistant Director and the Global Programs Manager.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
– Relevant post-Baccalaureate degree (or foreign degree equivalent)
– Alternatively, a relevant Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) and at least one year of relevant experience in student support functions

– Strong communication skills
– Motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
– Ability to work well as part of a team and manage multiple priorities
– Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
– Diplomatic style and cultural sensitivity
– Willingness to work evening and weekend hours
– Willingness to travel internationally

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience:
– Experience working with undergraduate students in global programs
– Master’s degree preferred
– Proficiency in technology, specifically the Slate application management tool, and data analysis

Campus Security Authority Responsibilities:
This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority and will be required to report Clery crimes and complete annual training about reporting responsibilities.
