**Job Description**
Texas A&M International University’s (TAMIU) Department of Biology and Chemistry is seeking to appoint a Visiting Lecturer of Biology for the 2024-2025 academic year. We are searching for individuals passionate about teaching and service. Visiting Lecturers at TAMIU typically teach 15 credit hours per semester, though this may be adjusted based on departmental needs and approvals. Regular face-to-face attendance on campus and in the workplace is required. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to hands-on undergraduate biology education.

**Required Qualifications**
– A Master’s Degree in Biology or a related field.
– Open research specialty.
– Prior teaching experience preferred (experience as a teaching assistant will be considered).
