Laurus Education is an organization that manages vocational education and training as well as ELICOS across various institutes in Australia. We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual with experience in international student admissions to join our admissions team. Your role will involve providing exceptional service to our prospective students and other important stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
– Supervise the daily operations of the Admissions Team, ensuring that team objectives are met, while also providing leadership, motivation, and support in the development of the team.
– Offer expert advice on complex cases.
– Collaborate with the Manager of Operations and Administration to constantly enhance the admissions processes.
– Advise management on admissions-related issues and trends.
– Review and evaluate admission applications, including the assessment of Genuine Student statements.
– Maintain accurate data in business systems such as SMS, CRM, and PRISMS.
– Contribute to the organization’s continuous improvement efforts.
– Deliver excellent customer service to all stakeholders, with a primary focus on our students.

About You:
To excel in this role, you must possess:
– Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
– Proficiency in Office 365 applications like Outlook, Word, and Excel, with the ability to quickly grasp new systems.
– Confidence in handling multiple tasks and taking on new challenges.
– Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, along with a friendly demeanor.
– Excellent time management skills, allowing you to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines effectively.

Skills and Experience:
To be considered for this position, you should have:
– Experience in international admissions within the Registered Training Organization (RTO) sector.
– The ability to assess applications and issue offers/Confirmation of Enrollments (COEs).
– Familiarity with evaluating credit transfer requests.
– A thorough understanding of the student visa environment in Australia.
– Experience in assessing Genuine Student Test (GTE) statements.
– Familiarity with business information systems, student management systems, customer relationship management databases, etc. Knowledge of the aXcelerate platform is desirable.
– Knowledge of the ESOS Act and National Code, as well as regulations and legislation relevant to RTOs (e.g., ASQA).
