Student Support/Marketing Officer- Philippines Market Job in North Sydney, Sydney NSW – SEEK

Crown Institute of Higher Education (CIHE) is a private institution located in North Sydney, Sydney CBD, and Canberra. We are currently looking for a Student Support/Marketing Officer to focus on the Philippines market and join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide marketing advice and support to senior management, with a specific focus on the Philippines market.
2. Identify and create opportunities to enhance and promote the brand and reputation of CIHE.
3. Collaborate with both local and international education agents who work with students from the Philippines.
4. Collaborate with the Student Support Manager to provide students with clear orientation and guidance on the available support services.
5. Refer students, when necessary, to appropriate academic staff for academic support or external services for personal support.
6. Inform students about CIHE’s grievance procedure and provide guidance in resolving any issues.
7. Assist students in person and online, offering advice and information about various matters including well-being and safety.
8. Contribute to the planning and provision of support services for students with disabilities or additional needs.

Selection Criteria:

1. Undergraduate qualifications in business, marketing, or related field.
2. Knowledge and experience in supporting international students, preferably in a higher education setting.
3. Professional experience in marketing, particularly in the international higher education sector.
4. Understanding of student needs and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
5. Familiarity with the legal and regulatory frameworks governing Higher Education in Australia, particularly in relation to international students.
6. Good understanding of stakeholder needs and how to respond to them.
7. Experience in quality assurance and improving services through monitoring and reporting.
