We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team as a Student Recruitment and Admissions Officer. The main focus of this role is to oversee student admissions and contribute to the growth of our brand.

This is a full-time position based at our Melbourne campus. As the Student Recruitment and Admissions Officer, you will collaborate with our Student Services and Marketing and Recruitment units. Your primary responsibility will be to provide information about AIA and its courses to prospective students and education agents, with the aim of recruiting students. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring that prospective students meet the admission criteria for AIA’s courses and are eligible to study in Australia.

Key responsibilities and duties include:
– Providing information and support to prospective students and education agents regarding AIA, its courses, and the admission/enrollment process
– Recruiting students from targeted countries by building relationships with onshore and offshore education agents
– Establishing and maintaining relationships with education agents, both locally and internationally
– Delivering training sessions to education agents on AIA’s courses and requirements, including relevant policies
– Managing the performance of education agents and taking appropriate action to address any issues
– Processing student applications in a timely manner and issuing Offer Letters and Confirmations of Enrolment (CoEs) accurately and efficiently
– Following up on pending offers and converting them into enrollments, ensuring conversion ratios are met
– Generating regular reports on student recruitment, agent visits, new agent sign-ups, enrollment numbers, market feedback, competitor activities, etc.
– Organizing events such as information sessions, education expos, and student orientations
– Contributing to brand-building activities including promotional events, email campaigns, designing promotional materials, and social media posts
– Providing student support and counseling services
– Managing the reception desk, welcoming students, agents, and other stakeholders
– Developing positive relationships with all key stakeholders, both internal and external
– Contributing to the development of new processes, systems, and procedures related to student recruitment and admission

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
– Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administration role dealing with international student admissions and student administration and support services
– Experience working in a CRICOS registered Higher or Vocational Education provider and familiarity with the international student sector
– Solid understanding of ESOS Act requirements for international students studying in Australia
– Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
– Ability to work under tight deadlines and meet performance targets
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
– Strong customer service focus, providing efficient and polite responses to all inquiries
– Self-motivated and proactive in your work approach
– Strong numeracy skills and ability to work with data to support business decisions
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools, including Word, Excel, SharePoint, MS Team, and PowerPoint, as well as experience with PRISMS Student Management Systems

– Proficiency in multiple languages
