The University of Edinburgh – Social Anthropology Department is seeking a Research Project Manager with experience in working with local and international partners for a fixed-term, full-time position. The salary for this role is £48,350 to £59,421 per annum (Grade UE08), and the contract will last for up to 60 months, starting from 1st September 2024.

The main responsibility of the Research Project Manager will be to develop, implement, oversee, and monitor strategic plans for a large interdisciplinary and international research programme related to healthcare waste and sustainability. The successful candidate should have a current project management qualification and a minimum of four years’ hands-on experience in a similar role, or substantial vocational experience. Additionally, they should have a proven track record in project management of complex, international projects, as well as experience working with partners from the Global South.

This position is advertised as full-time (35 hours per week), but flexible working patterns and hybrid working arrangements (combining remote and on-campus work) can be considered. The deadline for applications is 26th April 2024, and the job reference is 10185.
