Summary:
This posting is intended to establish a pool of lecturers who can be considered for future temporary, non-tenure-track positions. Please note that there may not be a current open position at this time. Appointments will be part-time (less than 50% FTE) and will be determined on a semester-by-semester basis, depending on teaching needs. The temporary lecturer pool will be active until August 2021, after which all applications will be cleared. However, applicants are encouraged to apply to future pools after that date.
Description:
The Business School at the University of Colorado Denver is seeking a pool of lecturers in International Business for potential future appointments to temporary, non-tenure-track positions. These appointments will be part-time (less than 50% FTE) and will be made as needed on a semester-by-semester basis. Lecturers selected from this pool will teach classes within the Business School, with a general limit of three credit hours per class. Classes may be taught in various modes, including in-person, hybrid, online, or remote.

Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position ranges from $4,915 to $5,360, depending on the course level. The final salary for selected candidates will be determined based on various factors, including internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training. Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
– Master’s or higher degree in International Business, MBA, International Studies, or a closely related field.
– Recent significant professional, technical, or managerial experience in the discipline relevant to the teaching assignment. “Significant experience” is defined as a minimum of five years of relevant duties and responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Prior teaching experience in International Business, International Finance, International Trade, International Management, International Marketing, or E-Commerce (including Cross-Border E-Commerce).
