This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within Cardiff University’s Student Life Division, specifically within the Student Visa Support team. We are looking for an experienced Immigration Adviser who can provide professional guidance and advice to students regarding immigration matters. The successful candidate must have the ability to provide accurate and confidential advice through various channels such as in-person, telephone, video conferencing, and email. Maintaining accurate case notes and statistical information is also a key responsibility.

To be successful in this role, you must have comprehensive knowledge of student visas and immigration processes for international students. You will be responsible for advising international and EU students on visa and immigration matters, including those enrolled in pre-sessional language courses and International Study Centre students progressing to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Staying up to date with relevant legislation and university regulations is imperative. Additionally, you will deliver presentations, workshops, and publications to students and staff across the university.

This position is based within the Student Advice and Money team, which also includes Student Funding and Advice and Student Money Support. As part of the Student Life Division, there are ample opportunities for collaboration and involvement in various student-focused projects.
