International Recruitment Specialist Overview:
The Admissions and Recruitment department at Purdue University Northwest is looking for an International Recruitment Specialist to join their team. This role involves attracting and sourcing students from various international markets and collaborating with different departments to understand their recruitment needs. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of international laws and regulations, education systems, and recruitment trends. International and domestic travel is required for this position.

Education of International Recruitment Specialist:
– Bachelor’s degree in communication, education, sales, marketing, or a related field

Experience of International Recruitment Specialist:
– Two years of proven experience in student recruitment, communication, education, sales, marketing, or a related field
– In-depth knowledge of international education systems, admissions requirements, and visa regulations for international students, or willingness to learn
– Experience as a Designated School Official (DSO) or willingness to become a DSO within the first 60 days

Core Competencies of International Recruitment Specialist:
– Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills
– Proficiency in marketing and promotional strategies for recruiting international students
– Familiarity with student information systems and admissions databases
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
– Excellent organizational and time-management skills
– Valid driver’s license and ability to use personal vehicle on behalf of the university, meeting minimum driver qualifications
