Job Title: International Recruitment Officer

Employment Type: Full-time, working 37 hours per week

Annual Leave: 30 days plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days for the office closure between Christmas and New Year

Location: College Lane Campus, University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield

We are currently seeking a qualified individual to join our International Office as an International Recruitment Officer. This role is responsible for executing the University’s corporate international agenda within the region in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

– Achieve sales targets and evaluate performance of recruitment channels.
– Assist in implementing the international student recruitment strategy in the region.
– Develop region-based plans that effectively communicate priorities and opportunities.
– Establish and nurture channels within the region, providing market intelligence to schools of study and the international team.

Requirements:

– Proven track record in a comparable international or sales role.
– Successful attainment of international sales targets.
– Commercial acumen and strong organizational and IT skills.
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Proficient knowledge of international student recruitment in East and South East Asia.
– Ability to provide excellent service standards and build relationships across diverse backgrounds and cultures.
– Fluency in a relevant second language is advantageous.

Qualifications:

– Minimum of a degree-level qualification, or equivalent experience.
– Extensive professional work experience will also be considered.
