**Position Title:** International Evaluation Coordinator

**Duties and Responsibilities:**
– Evaluate transcripts (High School, Undergraduate, and Graduate), prior learning documents, and educational credentials to determine the U.S. equivalent GPA and acceptable transfer credit.
– Prepare evaluation and transfer articulation reports for international students.
– Articulate transfer credits and enter GPA into the student’s account on the Banner Student Information System.
– Serve as Designated School Official/Alternate Responsible Officer.
– Prepare admission packages and certificates of eligibility (I-20/DS2019) for students to obtain the appropriate visa.
– Archive all admission documents after the I-20/DS2019 is mailed or shipped.
– Access and enter data into appropriate software concerning student records.
– Provide visa-related advice to students, faculty, and staff.
– File daily documents and update student educational records.
– Assist in completing office projects, such as maintaining OGI websites and social media platforms, representing OGI at University events, Orientation, etc.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
– Knowledge of the international admissions process.
– Understanding of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) concerning F-1 visas.
– Familiarity with SEVIS protocol and procedures and knowledge of immigration issues, procedures, tips, and practices.
– Understanding of university practices and procedures.
– Knowledge of acceptable advising techniques.
– Strong interpersonal skills, especially with non-native English speakers; excellent written communication skills.
– Problem-solving and analytical skills.
– Effective oral communication skills.
– Ability to manage multiple projects and respond to competing demands.
– Ability to process, review, and evaluate student documents.
– Proficiency in using computers and relevant software applications, including the Banner Student Information System.

**Minimum Qualifications:**
– Bachelor’s degree.
– Two (2) years of experience in student services or related field.
– Candidate must meet Homeland Security requirements to serve as Designated School Official/Alternate Responsible Officer.
