Milestones Institute of Higher Education

Milestones Institute of Higher Education (MIHE) is an esteemed component of Milestones Education, a prominent global education brand. Currently, MIHE is in the process of developing its initial registration as a new higher education provider. To aid in this critical phase of development, MIHE is actively seeking a highly skilled higher education manager to join its team. Reporting directly to the CEO, the higher education manager will be responsible for leading the application process for initial registration as a new higher education provider. This includes offering guidance on higher education standards, providing support to various boards and committees, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Additionally, the higher education manager will play a pivotal role in the strategic leadership of the team and contribute to the overall direction of the Institute.

Responsibilities include:

– Leading the development of the application for initial registration as a new higher education provider
– Maintaining and updating MIHE’s Policies and Procedures as required
– Supporting and coordinating internal and external quality and regulatory audits during the initial application process
– Assisting in the development of strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance academic quality and governance requirements during the initial application process
– Collaborating closely with external/internal consultants and stakeholders in the development of the application for initial registration
– Liaising with the Academic and Corporate Governance Boards, executive management, and academic and administrative staff
– Providing advice to the Corporate Governance Board and executive management on compliance matters and the strategic direction of the Institute

Selection criteria for this position include:

– Tertiary qualifications in management or academic quality, or extensive experience in a related discipline
– Recent experience in HESF compliance, as well as other relevant regulatory and contractual compliance
– Demonstrated experience and success in working with a range of stakeholders
– Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
– Authorization to work in Australia
