The Team:
This position is part of the YSJ Global Team, based at our York campus. The YSJ Global Team is a multidisciplinary directorate comprising several operational departments, including International Student Recruitment and Conversion, Overseas Partnerships, Student Support, Marketing and Communications, Admissions, Visa and Compliance, and the International Programs Team. Our primary objective is to enhance social mobility for international students at York St John University.

The Role:
As the Global Recruitment & Conversion Manager, you will lead our strategic international student recruitment efforts, oversee admissions processes, and drive conversion initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include managing international UCAS and direct student admissions, organizing outreach events, and utilizing CRM systems to enhance recruitment strategies, among other key initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience:
To be successful in the role of Global Recruitment & Conversion Manager, you should possess substantial experience in international student recruitment and admissions within UK higher education. You must also have expertise in managing admissions pipelines and implementing targeted conversion initiatives. Strong line management skills, knowledge of visa regulations, and proficiency in CRM systems are essential. Additionally, advanced IT skills, marketing expertise, and excellent communication abilities are necessary to effectively engage diverse audiences. Strong analytical and organizational skills are crucial to drive strategic recruitment efforts and ensure compliance with UKVI regulations. Adaptability, determination, and a commitment to fair access to higher education are essential qualities that will help us achieve our organizational objectives.

Additional Information:
This position may require both domestic and international travel, as well as periods of work away from home.
