Job Summary:

As a Gifts Coordinator, you’ll play a crucial role in planning and implementing fundraising initiatives while maintaining communication schedules and donor databases. You’ll be the go-to contact for fundraising inquiries, ensuring donor interactions are well-documented and aid in achieving fundraising objectives.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Manage donor information by maintaining and updating databases.
• Ensure gifts are correctly attributed to appropriate campaigns and funds.
• Oversee corporate matching gift requests and the accuracy of online gift processing.
• Reconcile donor entries and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Collaborate in developing gift processing guidelines.
• Offer customer service support to the university’s alumni and donors.

Additional Duties:

• Support budget and donor account tracking.
• Develop and manage donor agreements and acknowledgments.
• Collaborate with Financial Aid for scholarship awards.
• Ensure timely renewal requests and personalized donor communications.
• Assist with deposit preparations and payment reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience: Three years in donor relations, gift processing, accounting, or related fields. A combination of education and experience may also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Blackbaud, FAMIS/CANOPY, or Banner systems.
• Strong command of word processing and spreadsheet tools.
• Ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and maintain professional relationships.

Special Requirements:
