About the Role:

As a Placement Officer, your responsibility will be to match students with placement opportunities that will provide them with relevant experience in preparation for a career in Community Services. This role offers a great opportunity for someone interested in entering the field of Education/Teaching as you will work closely with academic teams. We are a close-knit team that is passionate about supporting students in their educational and career journeys. You will work in a multicultural environment, collaborating with colleagues and students from around the world.

Key tasks include:

– Screening, matching, and placing community services students into field placement opportunities
– Connecting, engaging, and supporting a diverse range of international students to meet placement requirements
– Providing clear, trusted, and timely communication with the ability to adapt interpersonal skills
– Managing relationships with partner agencies

About you:

– Relevant experience or understanding of the welfare sector/community services
– Strong interest in supporting students and providing them with an outstanding overall experience
– Experience using Moodle and/or other relevant student management systems (preferred)
– Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
– Genuine enthusiasm for a fast-paced growth work environment
– Team player who enjoys collaboration
