Opportunity Description:
Southern Cross University is currently seeking an innovative leader to enhance our global initiatives. As the Executive Director, Global, you will report to the Vice President of Future Students and Outreach. Your main responsibility will be to develop and execute marketing strategies that increase international student enrollment and expand our global presence. In this role, you will create comprehensive global engagement plans, establish partnerships within the university and with key collaborators, and develop new study abroad programs that align with our curriculum and academic standards. Your leadership qualities, strategic planning expertise, and knowledge of international education will enable you to promote global opportunities for students, especially those from marginalized backgrounds. Additionally, you will represent Southern Cross University in various local, national, and international settings and ensure compliance with regulations related to international students. Candidate Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will possess significant knowledge and experience in international student recruitment, mobility, support, and relevant policies and legislation. With a strategic mindset and entrepreneurial flair, you will understand business drivers and be able to lead an innovative international recruitment strategy that positively impacts commercial returns. Strong cultural awareness, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to represent the university on a global stage are crucial. You should be skilled in influencing, advocating, and developing productive relationships. High-level analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to implement evidence-based change initiatives successfully.
