Position: Student Enrolment Officer (Fixed-term)

Role: We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Student Enrolment Officer at Swinburne University’s Hawthorn campus. This is a full-time, fixed-term position until 31 Dec 2024. The role entails providing support for enrolments from Swinburne’s partner institution, Swinburne Open Education (SOE).

Responsibilities: As a Student Enrolment Officer, you will be responsible for processing student enrolments and ensuring all related activities, including regulatory compliance requirements, are completed. Your role will involve acting as a subject matter expert for SUT enrolment activity and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure compliant enrolment, re-enrolment, and enrolment variation processes. Furthermore, you will strive to deliver a positive and seamless enrolment experience for both students and staff.

Requirements: To be suitable for this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience:
– Demonstrated ability in customer/student focused operations.
– Commitment to excellence in service provision, quality, and continuous improvement.
– Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex issues.
– Capacity to develop, review, and maintain policies and procedures.
– Preferred experience in higher education/vocational education/Foundation and Pathways administration management, specifically in relation to enrolments, course advice, and enquiry management.
– Completion of a degree or relevant work experience. An associate diploma or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training will also be considered.
