Job Summary:
The End User Support Specialist I provides routine support to end users, troubleshooting computing and connectivity issues, and resolving problems. They evaluate issues, recommend solutions, and provide guidance on hardware and software selection. Their responsibilities also include training end users, developing documentation, and assisting with new technology deployments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
– Troubleshoot a variety of end user computing and connectivity issues
– Collaborate with personnel to resolve procedural and technical problems
– Research problems and recommend solutions
– Provide guidance on hardware and software selection
– Ensure work is accurate and complies with quality standards
– Train end users on widely used and specialized software applications
– Assist with the evaluation of new technologies
– Develop documentation for internal use
– Provide resource estimates and progress reports
– Assist end users with new technology deployments

Minimum Requirements:
– Education: Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience
– Experience: Two years of related IT experience
– Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications
– Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others

Other Requirements:
– Occasional evening and weekend work may be required
– Position requires on campus, face-to-face interactions
– Regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace

Salary: $20.08/hourly
