As part of our expansion, we are currently looking for experienced ELICOS Teachers to join our team at our Sydney CBD Campus. In this role, you will play a crucial part in accomplishing one of our company’s objectives – delivering an outstanding learning experience to our students by providing exceptional customer service and support. You are an organized and proactive individual who can communicate professionally and respectfully with students from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities for this role include: testing new students and assigning them to suitable classes, delivering top-notch ELICOS lessons, participating in mandatory student orientation sessions, teaching EAP and other ELICOS programs at our campuses, completing marking and administrative tasks related to teaching, ensuring adherence to all relevant policies and procedures (especially attendance and course progress policy), meeting all ELICOS, ESOS, and National Code Standards and requirements, collaborating with the recruitment team on marketing initiatives, engaging in continuous professional development in the ELICOS and TESOL sectors, and working as part of a team to establish a cheerful and positive environment for our students.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience: We prefer candidates with a degree or equivalent and a recognized TESOL qualification, although a Graduate Diploma or Masters in TESOL is highly preferred. Applicants should have at least two years of ELICOS teaching experience and one year of teaching EAP 1 and/or EAP 2 (English for Academic Purposes) courses. Possessing a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is advantageous. A thorough understanding of ELICOS Standards 2018 and the National Code 2018 is important. Demonstrated initiative, teamwork skills, and the ability to work autonomously when necessary are essential. A Working with Children Check (WWCC) and a National Police Check no more than 12 months old are required. A positive attitude and a passion for assisting international students in achieving their goals are vital qualities.
