Job Title: Domestic Student Recruitment Officer

Position Type: Full-time, Fixed-term position until April 2025

Location: La Trobe University’s Albury-Wodonga campus

About the Position:

The Domestic Student Recruitment Officer is responsible for establishing strong relationships on behalf of the University to recruit high-quality domestic and international applicants. This role involves building relationships with targeted secondary schools and implementing student recruitment initiatives.

The Domestic Student Recruitment unit is responsible for implementing acquisition and conversion strategies to recruit high-quality applicants. This includes managing course inquiries, facilitating direct admissions and alternative entry schemes, and delivering student recruitment across Australia.

The Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Future Growth plays a key role in developing customer growth and stakeholder engagement strategies across various markets and channels.

Skills and Experience:

– Minimum of an undergraduate degree or extensive relevant experience
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including teamwork
– Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects
– Self-motivated with effective time management skills
– Ability to focus on objectives and achieve desired outcomes
– Experience in organizing student activities/events
– Event coordination experience, including planning, promotion, and implementation
– Strong verbal and written communication skills
– Willingness to travel and work outside normal office hours if necessary
– Valid driver’s license
