Australian International College is a reputable institution that specializes in offering English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS). We are dedicated to providing top-notch education in the English language to international students and fostering an environment that promotes support and inclusivity. Currently, we are in search of a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the role of Director of ELICOS, who will lead our academic team and enhance our program offerings.

As the Director of ELICOS, your main responsibility will be to oversee both the academic and administrative aspects of our ELICOS program. This includes ensuring that we meet regulatory standards and continuously improving our teaching and learning methods. We are looking for a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills and a genuine passion for language education.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

– Developing, designing, and implementing the ELICOS curriculum.
– Ensuring compliance with the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act and National Code of Practice.
– Providing leadership and professional development opportunities for our teaching staff.
– Monitoring student progress and offering academic support.
– Creating strategies to expand and enhance our program offerings.
– Cultivating a learning environment that is inclusive and culturally sensitive.

To be eligible for this position, you must have the following qualifications:

– A Master’s degree in TESOL.
– A minimum of three years of teaching and managing experience in ELICOS.
– A strong understanding of the regulatory requirements for international education.
– Proven leadership and management skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
– The capability to develop and execute strategic plans.
