Job Title: Coordinator of Student Events – Ballarat, Gippsland, or Berwick Campus

We are currently seeking a full-time, continuing appointment for the position of Coordinator of Student Events at our Ballarat, Gippsland, or Berwick Campus. This role offers an annual salary of $85,846 plus up to 17% superannuation.

As the Coordinator of Student Events, you will be responsible for leading the planning and execution of a diverse calendar of events for students across all campuses, including online platforms. You will provide expert advice, recommendations, and oversight to ensure timely, engaging, and effective events that enhance the student experience. Additionally, you will develop guidelines and service delivery agreements, build relationships with university stakeholders, manage staff, and support student clubs and groups in providing inclusive and exciting event opportunities.

The ideal candidate will possess innovative problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, collaborate effectively within a team, and build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders. Key qualifications for this role include event or project management experience, proficiency in multitasking with tight deadlines, strong marketing and communication skills, and the ability to balance student aspirations with university regulations.
