Term: Fixed-term appointment for 2 years
The Department of International Relations is looking to hire a proactive and motivated Communications Coordinator. This individual will serve as the primary contact for all departmental communications and will lead both internal and external communications efforts to ensure effective dissemination of key messages to various audiences. Responsibilities include implementing and developing the Department’s communication and engagement strategy, managing communications for a diverse audience, and enhancing the Department’s social media presence to increase engagement and visibility of its research and teaching.
Ideal candidates should possess demonstrable administrative experience, preferably in a communications role, and be proficient in using social media tools professionally. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, high accuracy, and attention to detail are essential. Additionally, candidates should be adept at managing their workload to meet multiple deadlines, prioritising tasks, and using their initiative to solve everyday problems.
