**Work Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Occasional evenings and weekends as required. Telework available one day per week after a six-month probation period.

**Job Purpose:** This role is crucial in providing effective and comprehensive customer service for the Terra Dotta (TD) software used by the Study Abroad (SA) department, facilitating a seamless experience for all involved parties. As the primary Terra Dotta administrator, the incumbent will oversee daily software-related tasks and act as the primary contact for users. Additionally, this role includes general advising responsibilities, such as managing student workers and coordinating informational sessions for outreach events within academic colleges.

The coordinator will also participate in portfolio cross-training to reduce disruptions from absences, increase mental health awareness and resource accessibility, handle international crises, and engage in campus-wide strategic planning and diversity efforts. The university anticipates offering an annual salary range of $41,600 for this position, with the entire internal salary range spanning from $41,600 to $59,040.

**Essential Functions**

**Training and Support**
– **20% of Time**
– Deliver training and support to undergraduate, graduate, and lifelong learning participants, addressing platform issues.
– Hold regular office hours and respond to troubleshooting calls for Terra Dotta.
– Keep stakeholders informed about platform updates and facilitate smooth implementations.
– Develop feedback channels to enhance stakeholder services.

**Platform Management**
– **10% of Time**
– Remain informed about platform updates, resolve issues, and relay feedback to developers.
– Attend virtual training sessions and the annual Terra Dotta conference, if possible.
– Build a network with peer users to share best practices.

**Data Analytics and Reporting**
– **20% of Time**
– Provide analytics and student data to campus offices, such as the Registrar and Financial Aid.
– Produce regular reports on student participation.
– Compile quarterly and annual reports on student participation for university stakeholders.

**General Advising and Coordination of Information Sessions**
– **20% of Time**
– Assist the SA team with advising students on study abroad opportunities.
– Plan and execute information sessions promoting study abroad programs.
– Supervise peer advisors and support outreach events to boost study abroad engagement across campus.

**Additional Responsibilities**
– Update websites as necessary.
– Participate in Study Abroad on-call processes and complete required training.
– Uphold professionalism by performing duties efficiently, safely, and courteously. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse groups are essential.
– Other tasks as assigned by the department.

**Qualifications/Knowledge Required/Years of Experience Required**
– **Required Degree:** Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
– **Certifications/Licensures:** Not Applicable
– **Knowledge Required:** Early career, acquired through education and/or some experience
– **Years of Experience Required:** 1-3 years
– **Minimum Qualifications:**
– Bachelor’s degree plus one year of related experience or five years of related experience in lieu of an education requirement.
– Experience in study abroad advising, international education, or a related area.
– Strong oral and written communication skills.
– Effective interaction with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
– Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
– Proficiency in office and management software, such as PeopleSoft and Terra Dotta.

**Desired Qualifications**
– Master’s degree in International Education, International Relations, or a related field.
– Intermediate proficiency in one or more foreign languages.
– Experience in program administration or higher education.
– Experience traveling, studying, or living abroad.
– Experience with digital and social media platforms for program promotion.
– Experience with professional development programs for academic advisors.
– Knowledge of study abroad program design, implementation, evaluation, and risk management.

**Physical/Environmental Qualifications**
– Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.
– Capacity to prepare for and attend meetings/events across campus in various weather conditions.
– Movement related to computer work.
– Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, stretch, and reach.
– Ability to lift and move items up to 25 lbs.
