Position Overview:
Kenyon College is seeking a dedicated professional to assist in the administration and development of its off-campus study (OCS) programs. This role requires someone with a significant understanding of international education systems and policies, as well as a passion for promoting cross-cultural learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising & Administration: Guide students through the off-campus study process, including application review and revision, and stay informed on visa requirements.
- Program Coordination: Oversee pre-departure and re-entry programming, informational sessions, and institutional events.
- Communications: Maintain informational materials and manage the social media presence for the Center for Global Engagement (CGE).
- Campus Liaison: Collaborate with various campus departments to facilitate a comprehensive support system for students.
- Supervision: Oversee 1-2 student interns and participate in the on-call rotation for OCS and international student support.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a relevant field, with 3-5 years of experience in education abroad.
- Substantial international experience and proficiency in a foreign language.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse groups.
- Familiarity with the StudioAbroad system is preferred.
