The role:

Position: International Administrative Assistant
Reference: MAY20240120
Full-time position – 37 hours per week
Fixed-term contract – until May 2025 (Maternity Cover)
Salary: £23,404 – £23,903 per annum
Location: Gorseinon Campus

Key Responsibilities:

– Provide pastoral care support to international students across all College sites
– Coordinate the international social program, including organizing trips to Swansea and other locations in the UK
– Assist with financial administration, such as processing invoices, setting up customer and supplier accounts, handling payments/refunds for homestay providers, managing staff expenses, and maintaining accurate financial records
– Support homestay administration, including coordinating marketing campaigns to increase the number of homestay providers and developing informative literature for prospective students and their parents

About you:

– Qualified to degree level or have relevant professional experience
– Previous experience in administration or a similar role
– Excellent customer service skills
– Proficient in IT, including spreadsheet software and Word processing
