OVERVIEW The Program Manager in the Office of Overseas Programs for Arts and Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis plays a central role in advancing undergraduate international education. This position supports students as they engage in intercultural and international academic experiences and helps ensure the effective delivery of university-sponsored programs abroad. Working within a collaborative campus environment, the role connects students, faculty, and global partners to support meaningful overseas learning opportunities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Support undergraduate engagement in intercultural and international academic experiences – Provide study abroad advising to undergraduate students – Coordinate faculty-led international programs – Coordinate international exchange programs – Support the administration of scholarships related to overseas programs – Provide services for international exchange students – Support engagement activities for students returning from international programs – Collaborate with faculty on international education initiatives – Work with campus partners to deliver international programs – Collaborate with international institutions connected to WashU-run programs – Support the delivery of university-run international education programs – Contribute to the assessment of international education programs REQUIREMENTS WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS International education programs require careful coordination to ensure academic quality, student support, and meaningful intercultural learning.
