Job Overview:
Regent College London, part of the Regent Group, is seeking a Visa Compliance Officer to oversee and ensure compliance with UK Home Office regulations relating to international students. This role is pivotal to the college’s ability to maintain its status as a licensed sponsor of international students under the UKVI Student Route.
The Visa Compliance Officer is responsible for the pre-enrolment stage of international student management, including:
- Developing and managing Points Based Immigration (PBI) systems and processes.
- Issuing Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) documents.
- Conducting pre-enrolment compliance interviews with international applicants.
- Monitoring compliance against UKVI Basic Compliance Assessment metrics and reporting any risks to the relevant stakeholders.
- Tracking the immigration status of students and staff, conducting right-to-work checks, and ensuring visa expiry dates are monitored for compliance.
This role also requires staying up to date with UKVI policy changes, providing expert guidance to staff on best practices, and developing collaborative relationships across departments to ensure sustained compliance in all international student-related processes.
