We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a global mindset and experience in international customer service and financial operations to join our Global Office as a Turing scheme coordinator. This role is vital in supporting student mobility and requires collaboration with our team to ensure the success of the university’s Turing scheme activities.
The Turing scheme provides funding for various student mobility programs, including study and work abroad opportunities. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues to plan future activities, apply for scheme funding, and communicate internally and externally on related matters. They will oversee the operations of the scheme, manage grant documentation and awards for students, and ensure compliance with Turing scheme requirements. Regular communication with the Turing scheme national agency will be necessary, including submitting reports and project updates through an online system. They will also be responsible for the final audit and report submission process.
In this role, the coordinator will collaborate with key colleagues in the Global Office, working across different departments such as Finance, Registry, and Scholarships. They will also communicate with the Turing scheme agency and external auditors. The successful candidate should have strong organizational skills, the ability to proactively plan and manage various requirements, and a willingness to work collaboratively to support institutional strategic activities and student placements through the scheme.

This role will primarily be based at the Bute Building, St Mary’s Quad in St Andrews. The Global Office adopts a hybrid work model, with three in-office days per week and two days working from home.
