**Student Services Department**
The Student Services Department is a large, multi-disciplinary team dedicated to supporting our students. Within this department, the Student Money and Immigration team provides essential advice on Student Finance, UWL’s internal Scholarships and Bursaries, and guidance on student visas and immigration, specifically supporting our international students. We are a hardworking, sociable, and close-knit team that values mutual support to ensure an outstanding student experience.
**The Role**
The successful candidate will manage casework and offer support and guidance to students and staff on various practical advice issues, including immigration and student visa regulations. You will contribute to delivering a professional and specialized advice and guidance service to all students, aiding their academic progress and retention. This role requires flexibility in working hours, including weekend and evening shifts, and necessitates working across our main campuses in Ealing and Brentford.
**The Person**
We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate individual to join our Student Money and Immigration team permanently. You should be self-motivated, proactive, and extremely organized, capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Excellent interpersonal, communication, advocacy, and customer service skills are essential, along with proven casework experience. Familiarity with the higher education sector and extensive knowledge of UK student immigration are required.
