OVERVIEW The University of Surrey is seeking an International Officer (Middle East and Africa) to support recruitment activity and increase applications from international students across the region. This role sits within the International Student Recruitment team and focuses on strategic market engagement and relationship development. The post is based in Guildford, England, with regular international travel. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Develop and implement recruitment strategies for the Middle East and africa – Build and maintain relationships with international schools – Manage and support recruitment agents – Attend international recruitment events – Organise on-campus activities related to recruitment REQUIREMENTS – Experience in international student recruitment – Strong presentation skills – Strong project management skills – Willingness to travel internationally WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This position plays a key role in connecting international students with educational opportunities at the University of Surrey.
