The University of Reading recognizes the significance of studying abroad and has integrated student mobility opportunities and partnerships into our international strategic goals. The Study Abroad Office, responsible for all Study Abroad activities, will play a crucial role in implementing and supporting these opportunities.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with students and can effectively promote study abroad while providing excellent administrative support for our student mobility programs. The role primarily focuses on assisting outgoing students with their mobility plans and managing our study abroad and exchange partnerships. It also involves utilizing technology to enhance promotional and support activities and increasing participation from groups of students who are currently underrepresented in mobility programs.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to learn about and contribute to all aspects of the Study Abroad Office, working closely with colleagues within the team and across the University to ensure smooth and successful operations.
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:
– Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
– Strong administrative abilities with attention to detail.
– Proficiency in digital technology.
– Experience in delivering presentations and public speaking.
– Outstanding customer relations skills.
