Position Title: Study Abroad Office Administrator
Location: College Lane Campus, Hatfield
Type: Full-Time Employment (37 hours per week)
Salary: UH5 £27,181pa to £30,487pa, with annual increments based on skills and experience
Annual Leave: 25 days + public holidays + additional 4 days during Christmas-New Year office closure

Please note that this role is primarily campus-based, with the possibility of some remote work. The ideal candidate should be willing to work on campus for the majority of the time. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to new working practices and requires a motivated and proactive individual to provide support to our Study Abroad office.

Key Responsibilities:
– Maintain internal and external systems related to Study Abroad
– Provide administrative support for student and staff mobility in accordance with University and Turing Scheme procedures and regulations
– Liaise with Legal and Compliance Services to ensure timely maintenance of inter-institution agreements and contracts
– Maintain records, financial data, and reporting for funding through the Turing Scheme
– Update student, partner, and module information in relevant systems (e.g., MoveOn and Turing Scheme platform)
– Offer administrative support, advice, and liaison for the Turing Scheme mobility program and other student exchange and study abroad programs
– Provide advice and information to inbound and potential outbound students

Skills and Experience Required:
– Flexibility in time and workload to support effective team working and customer service
– High level of accuracy in data input and ability to work on various processes and regulations
– Attention to detail and good organizational skills
– Initiative and a flexible approach in meeting deadlines
– Excellent communication skills when interacting with key stakeholders

Qualifications:
– A minimum of A-level (or equivalent) education or proven professional work experience
