We’re hiring for a new Study Abroad Advisor to join the UIC Study Abroad Office team!

This role is an excellent fit for a newer professional to the field who is looking to join a team of experienced international educators to support increasing access to education abroad by students who have traditionally been underrepresented.

The ideal candidate will have strong people skills and enjoy working on a variety of administrative tasks that support the operations of the full education abroad lifecycle. This position will include some student advising and outreach as well.

It is an exciting time to join the UIC SAO team as we ae expanding our faculty-directed programming and have been successful in launching unique initiatives that meet the needs of our diverse student body. This role will have the opportunity to participate in important professional development activities including attending national conferences and participating in international site visits. We currently have a hybrid work setting with staff working in office 3 days a week. The maximum salary is $50k.
