Crown Institute of Higher Education (CIHE) is a dynamic private higher education institution with campuses in North Sydney, Sydney CBD, Hurstville, and Canberra. We are eager to welcome a dedicated Student Support/Marketing Officer specializing in the South East Asian market to our expanding team.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the senior management team to offer strategic marketing insights, particularly aimed at the South East Asian market.
  • Develop and implement opportunities to enhance CIHE’s brand visibility and profile within this region.
  • Serve as a key liaison with both local and international education agents focusing on this demographic.
  • Partner with the student support manager to deliver comprehensive orientation and guidance to students about available support services.
  • Direct students to academic staff for academic support when necessary and external services for personal support.
  • Educate students on the use of CIHE grievance procedures.
  • Provide firsthand support to students in person at the front desk and through online platforms.
  • Uphold the values of inclusion, equality, and diversity in all interactions.
  • Advise students on maintaining their well-being and safety.
  • Support the planning and delivery of services for students with disabilities and/or additional needs.

Selection Criteria:

  • Must hold undergraduate qualifications in business, marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Should possess knowledge of and experience in supporting international students, ideally within a higher education context.
  • Should have professional marketing experience, preferably in the international higher education sector.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the unique needs of students.
  • Proven ability to function effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with the legal and regulatory frameworks governing higher education in Australia, particularly as they pertain to international students.
  • Demonstrated ability to respond adeptly to the needs of various stakeholders.
  • Experience in quality assurance processes, including service monitoring, reporting, and improvement.
