Key Responsibilities:
– Student Welfare: Provide pastoral care to students, addressing emotional well-being, cultural adjustment, and other personal concerns.
– Compliance: Educate students on their rights and obligations under the ESOS framework and visa regulations, offering guidance on attendance, course progress, visas, complaints, and appeals.
– Counselling: Provide support and referral services to students facing specific challenges, ensuring they receive the necessary assistance.
– Engagement Monitoring: Keep track of student engagement and raise any concerns to relevant staff members.
– Enrolment Support: Assist with the enrolment process for new on-campus students and coordinate orientation activities each semester.
– Event Coordination: Organize guest speaker sessions, networking events, and workshops to enhance students’ experience.
– Documentation Support: Offer assistance with documentation, including Work Rights confirmation and medical insurance queries.
– Career Development: Support students with job applications, CV writing, interview techniques, and internship opportunities.
– Administrative Duties: Update student management and learning management systems as needed, collaborate with the administration team, maintain staff and student areas, and assist with adhoc duties.
– Internship Coordination: Assist with administrative tasks related to internships, such as organizing presentations and workshops for students.
– Student Success Meetings: Conduct meetings with at-risk students, reporting progress and concerns to the Student Success Manager.
– Team Support: Provide support to the Learning and Student Support Manager and collaborate with other Student Services Coordinators across campuses.
