This position specifically supports the Uggla Family Scholars Programme, which empowers up to ten exceptional undergraduate students from underrepresented backgrounds each year through financial, educational, and professional support. The Student Recruitment Coordinator will take on a multifaceted role in providing tailored information and guidance to prospective scholars, organizing pre-arrival communications and activities, and collaborating closely with the university’s recruitment and admissions teams to ensure a seamless scholar journey.
This is a London-based position with a salary range of £36,008 to £40,991 per annum (inclusive of the London allowance), with progression opportunities up to £43,854 per annum. Key Responsibilities
- Student Recruitment: Engage with potential applicants by delivering targeted activities aimed at achieving domestic and international recruitment goals aligned with LSE’s strategic objectives.
- Scholar Guidance: Serve as a primary point of contact, offering advice and support throughout the application process and delivering pre-arrival resources tailored for Uggla Family Scholars.
- Programme Development: Plan and deliver communications and networking activities to foster community among Uggla scholars, ensuring they feel connected to LSE before and during their studies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, particularly Recruitment and Admissions, to enhance engagement and streamline processes for both the Uggla Family Scholars Programme and other recruitment objectives.
