### Position Details

**Job Title:** Student Recruitment and Industry Liaison Manager
**Contract:** Full Time (35 hours per week), Open-ended (Permanent)

### About the Role

The School of Biological Sciences at The University of Edinburgh is seeking a Student Recruitment and Industry Liaison Manager. This role involves developing and managing the School’s undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment strategies and activities. Responsibilities include marketing, school liaison, overseas recruitment, and managing articulation and progression partnerships. The role also entails overseeing student placements in industry for select Biological Sciences programmes and managing two staff members.

We support hybrid working arrangements that combine remote work with regular on-campus attendance; however, this is on a non-contractual basis.

### Key Responsibilities

– Develop and manage recruitment strategies for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
– Oversee student placements in industry for specific Biological Sciences programs.
– Manage marketing, schools liaison, and international recruitment endeavors.
– Supervise two staff members.

### Ideal Candidate Profile

– Experience in student recruitment and conversion in a Higher Education context.
– Strong project management and communication skills.
– High degree of cultural awareness and an understanding of inclusion.
– Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple demands and deadlines.
– Willingness to travel internationally.
– Degree in or familiarity with Biological Sciences is desirable.
