Role Overview:
As a Student Life Coordinator for International and Transition, you will play a critical role in enhancing the academic and social success of international students. Guided by the key principles of Catholic Social Teaching, you’ll oversee the development and execution of engagement programs designed to help students transition smoothly into university life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage International Student Engagement Programs with a focus on dignity, community, and social justice.
- Provide insightful advice and actionable recommendations to university leadership on improving international student experiences.
- Oversee the creation of an International Student Engagement Framework to aid in academic and social integration.
- Lead a dynamic team across campuses in recruitment, training, and professional growth.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to offer rich cultural experiences and engagement for Study Abroad and International students.
- Ensure the adherence to university policies and ESOS Act compliance, particularly during International Student Orientation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- Proven expertise in managing teams and delivering strategic direction.
- Strong ability to interpret and advise on policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated success in building relationships and achieving consensus across departments.
- Commitment to the Catholic ethos of the University.
